The Mahoning Township Authority held the monthly meeting on September 21, 2009.

The meeting took place at 7:00pm in the Mahoning Township Municipal Building  located at 1101 Bloom Rd., Danville, Pa..

Minutes of August 17, 2009 were approved as presented.

The Keysers’ were present to ask questions concerning their 19 unit development. They were given a Developers Agreement to sign. Four (4) units will be built this fall.

 

The Weckters questioned what was going to be done to help the flow of excess water into their home.

Sikora Bros will be installing a French drain on Lombard this week.

Municipal assessment lien and the Judgement Note which applies to the Special Purpose fee in Resolution 206B approved by Ed Draugelis  second Grier Boedker Unanimous 

Letters to connect to the Red Lane Sewer portion approved to send.

 

Sewer Rate Study done by Arro Consultants was recommended and reviewed.

The sewer rate will be increased to $28.00 per month per edu.

Motion to accept Arros’ recommendation to increase the Sewer rate made by Ed Draugelis , Second Grier Boedker. Unanimous. Resolution #223.

The Board notates that they will pay the new increased sewer rates charged by Danville under protest.

 

I and I Resolution #222 for Condos was motioned for approval by Ed Draugelis, second Tom Mertz

 

Frosty Valley Country Club submitted paperwork for Dedication of Lines.

Rick Shoch, Solicitor will contact Jeff Hill with some questions.

 

New Business

Oak St./Red Lane Change Orders submitted by Arro was discussed.

Grier Boedker approves payment subject to completion of outstanding items.

 Sikora Bros. submitted price of $7500.00 to install French drain on Lombard Ave.

ISS Solutions submitted proposal on new computer
