The Mahoning Township Authority held the monthly meeting on March
17, 2008 at 7:00pm. in the Mahoning Township Municipal Building
located at 1101 Bloom Rd., Danville, Penna..

The February 11, 2008 minutes were approved as presented Approved

The Woods of Welsh project was discussed. Jim Stein will forward
the punchlist of necessary completion and will request HRI to give a
time frame for the completion of the work.
The Letter of Credit reduction will be determined with our
Project Manager for the next months meeting.
Robert Bomboy questioned the Red Lane Sewer Project. Bill
Lowthert from Seda Cog, is handling any County funding.

Water report approved as read. Motion to accept report made by Ed
Draugelis seconded by Dave Barron. Unanimous Bret LeVan, Operator is
requesting to upgrade the cell phone that he now has to a phone that
also has a camera.
Dave Barron motioned to accept the upgrade of the phone to a
Samsung Flipshot in Black at the one time cost of $49.99 and also
purchase the card reader and card at the approximate price of
$50.00. Ed Draugelis seconded the motion. Unanimous.
Bret LeVan is requesting a Rigid Power tool set including 1/2"
hammer drill, 6 1/2" circular saw, Reciprocating saw, 5/8" impact
driver, single port charger, 2 pack of 3.0 Ah Lithium Ion batteries,
auxillary handle assembly, double ended screwdriver bit, edge guide,
circular saw blade, 2 reciprocating blades, and heavy duty
contractor bag. This also includes lifetime free parts, free service
and free batteries at the price of $449.00.
Dave Barron made motion to purchase equipment Ed Draugelis

The easements for the Bloom Rd. utility easement is being worked
on.

Water tank overflowed due to pressure head freezing, CDG will be
billed for lost water.
New Business
Motion made by Dave Barron to purchase upgraded postal meter for
the township offices.
Model DM400 mailing system at the lease rate of $160.00 per
month. Ed Draugelis seconded the motion. Unanimous
Lucy Hettinger, Office Secretary, requested time off March 24,
