The Mahoning Township Authority held the
monthly meeting on January 17, 2011
in the Mahoning Township Municipal building at 6:00 pm.

Call to order
The December 20, 2011 minutes were approved. Motion to
accept made by Dave Barron, seconded by Ed Draugelis.
Unanimous.
The minutes of January 3, 2011 were approved as read. Dave
Barron made the motion to ratify the minutes of January 3,
2011 and Grier Boedker seconded the motion. Unanimous.
Public
Tom Prough representing Frosty Valley
Country Club attended to discuss their sewer bill. It was
determined that the base seats will be (60) sixty. A census
form will continue to be sent to the Club for quarterly
information.
Outstanding Authority Items
James Mcdermott owes $2643.58 for a water repair. A
Certified Notice was sent stating a lien will be placed
January 27, 2011 for non-payment. February meeting the Board
will re-discuss.
Engineers report
Recommendations of the Sewer Project Pending
reviewed, Dale will be requested to update the project
recommendations and financials. New Corrective Action Plan
information was received. The report will be forwarded to
Dale Heckman, Project Manager.
Operators report
Water reports, yearly and monthly for 2010
were reviewed and accepted. Motion made by Dave Barron
seconded Ed Draugelis . Unanimous
Two residents were shut off the week of January 10, 2011.
The property at 3 Diehl St. was charged an hour labor,
stones filled the curb stop.
Solicitors Report
Rick spoke to Representative Linda Culver,
she was not aware of the Sprinklers mandate. She will
address when they go into session. A letter will be sent to
Representatives to re-introduce House Bill 1196 for repeal.
Ed Draugelis motioned to send letter, Grier Boedker seconded
the motion. Unanimous.
Regionalization letter was approved to send to Danville
Borough, Montour County Commissioners, Mahoning Township
Supervisors and William Siegel, Seda Cog.
Exeter Supply and Utility Management Technologies both
request to demo their meters and products.
The Board unanimously does not have interest in seeing
demos.
I and I, Focus sheet and delinquent list were all reviewed.
Time off sheets reviewed and accepted. Motion to accept Dave
Barron, second Grier Boedker.
Bills paid or previously paid approved. Rick Shoch will send
revised bill with correct date.
Motion to pay Ed Draugelis, second Dave Barron Unanimous
Discussion regarding employee wages.
